Go Whatsapp application and open it

Go to setting 

Step 2:

Now Select "Chat settings" in settings  

Step 3:

Now select "Media auto-download"

Step 4:

Here You find your setting for stop auto download media in whats app 

Step 5:

Now select option as your require.
